HOW TO MAKE GLYCOLIC ACID PEELS AT HOME TO TREAT BLACKHEADS AND WRINKLES?

Glycolic acid falls in the category of AHA’s. Glycolic acid peels /chemical peels are widely used to treat acne, blackheads, whiteheads and wrinkles on skin. Glycolic acid can be derived from the natural sources like sugarcane, sugar beets, pineapple, unripe grapes etc.
Due to the capability to penetrate skin, glycolic acid finds application in skincare products. Now, let’s see how to make glycolic acid peels at home.
   
Chemical peel to remove blackheads
11.  Carrot juice     : 1 teaspoon
Honey              : 1 teaspoon
Sugar               : 2 teaspoon
Mix these 3 ingredients. Allow the sugar crystals to dissolve completely. you’ll get a sticky mixture. Apply as layer on skin. wash off after 20 minutes. If you have blackheads on nose, use this peel regularly and see the result.

22.  Pineapple juice           : 1 teaspoon
Sugar                           : 2 teaspoon
Lemon juice                : 1/2 teaspoon
Mix the ingredients and apply a layers on face. Leave for 20 minutes and wash. This recipe is also effective as the first one.

33.  Grape juice     : 1.5 teaspoon
Sugar               : 2 teaspoon
Mix sugar and grape juice. Use unripe grapes for better results.

Be sure that you are using a sunscreen while exposed to the sun if you practice glycolic acid peels. Because the skin will be a bit sensitive to the sun. Apply glycolic acid peels in the evening, not in the morning.
